LocationUS-New York-Orchard ParkDate Posted22 Aug 2021Cobham Mission Systems in Orchard Park, NY is seeking a Stockroom/Receiving Clerk t o communicate and coordinate with the PST regarding specific material management/ movement needs (kit pulls, Kanban, milk runs, cycle counts and inventory transactions to ensure timely delivery to the shop floor and inventory accuracy. This individual will also perform material management activities within the confines of the systems and procedures, the Oracle operating system and the certified operator system. Accurate inventory management using Oracle and other computerized data bases.

Cycle counting for accurate inventory counts

Material handling responsibilities associated with receiving parts, repackaging parts, transacting parts, counting parts, and stocking parts within the main company Stock Room and also within the manufacturing floor teams and cells.

Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading or other records Possess organization and communication skills.

Ability to work within a team oriented environment.

Able to stand, kneel, bend, reach, and climb ladders throughout the shift, lift 50-pounds consistently without assistance.

Ability to maintain accuracy (detail-oriented) without missing deadlines.
