Job Description:

Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across four campuses, providing essential support and guidance to students in Kinder-2nd grade. This is a fulfilling role that involves both case management and direct service provision through push-in and pull-out services.

Responsibilities:

• Case manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 students
• Implement and adapt curriculum to meet individual needs
• Provide push-in and pull-out services as required
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Conduct assessments and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Ensure full inclusion with a designated intervention period in each child's schedule

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience working with students in Kinder-2nd grade
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Work Hours:

• 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Compensation:

• $30 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience
