Plastics Process Technician (3rd Shift)

Our client, a leading innovator in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician for 3rd Shift to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities: Initiate and oversee machine processes, making necessary adjustments for optimal efficiency. Monitor and analyze all aspects of injection molding processes, ensuring smooth operation. Troubleshoot and resolve process problems, addressing any non-conformity issues promptly. Collaborate with the Molding Process Engineer in the setup and startup of new tools and resins for trial. Follow safety protocols, adhere to quality standards, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain clean and organized work areas, reporting any equipment malfunctions to the Process Team Leader. Qualifications: Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience. Minimum three years of injection molding experience, with a strong background in processing plastics and setting tools. Knowledge of automation systems and controls. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Proficient in performing work below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. Good vision at a close distance is required, and the ability to climb stairs is necessary. Preferences: Coursework related to injection molding. Experience with crane operation, robotics, and injection molding machines.
