Patient Care Coordinator

 Core Experience:

• Medical Administration experience; including but not limited to front desk/patient registration/scheduling etc.
• EMR Knowledge required - EPIC highly preferred
• Medical Terminology

A Day in the Role:

• Greets patients in the facilities and over the phone, in a professional manner
• Checking in patients, verifying insurance as well as updating patient demographics in EMR
• Patient scheduling, reminder calls, and follow-up appointments
• Communicating with patients via phone as well as office email
• Adhering to the HIPAA guidelines

Work Environment:

• Onsite – Busy office with high patient flow
• Hours: 9 - 5 Monday – Thursday / 8-4 Friday
