Overview

We're building an exceptional team as we accelerate Spotfire's growth, and we're looking for a results-oriented sales leader to join our dynamic sales team as the Sr. Manager of Energy & Manufacturing Sales. This position will report directly to Spotfire's VP of Sales and will be responsible for driving Spotfire's growth through customer acquisition, retention, and expansion across the Energy and Manufacturing verticals.

The Sr. Manager of Energy & Manufacturing Sales will be responsible for leading and growing a team of Energy & Manufacturing Account Executives across a large global customer base to maximize customer growth through effective sales management and processes.

This person will work closely with Spotfire Channel Sales, Marketing, Product Management and the TIBCO sales organization to achieve our growth objectives. As a key player in the next phase of Spotfire's growth, the Sr. Manager of Energy & Manufacturing Sales should thrive in a bold, fast-paced, values-driven leadership team and company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets by successfully managing the Energy & Manufacturing sales team

  • Design and implement a data-driven sales plan that achieves revenue growth targets

  • Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance management for a team of Energy & Manufacturing Account Executives

  • Define repeatable processes and playbooks to scale revenue growth and maximize sales efficiency

  • Accelerate customer usage, adoption, and satisfaction while developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

  • Manage and mentor a team of Energy & Manufacturing Account Executives through all stages of Spotfire's sales process and playbook

  • Develop presentations that clearly and concisely illustrate the value of Spotfire to prospects and key stakeholders

  • Coordinate sales efforts collaboratively with Product, Marketing and Legal teams

  • Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of a sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts on a weekly basis

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of sales management experience selling software solutions within the Energy & Manufacturing verticals (analytic software experience preferred)

  • 3-5 years of sales management experience leading sales teams that exceed quota expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to credibly and effectively communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a sales pipeline and forecast accurately to executives

  • Proactive and results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales and revenue targets

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales management tools

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $211,239-$234,710 CA generally ranges; $220,424-$244,916 All other locations fall under our General State range; $183,686-$204,096 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
