3rd shift - Monday- Friday 11 pm- 7am

About the Position:
The site houses customer data services equipment for a wide variety of customers and service providers. As a result of customer requirement, the site is highly secure and requires a certain level of discretion with regard to customer anonymity. As we have grown the need for a custodial staff has arisen. The main function of the staff will be to maintain the cleanliness of public spaces and the overall aesthetic of the campus grounds.
What you do daily:
- Daily cleaning of all common areas
- Glass cleaning
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Mop/power scrub floors
- Spot cleaning as needed
- Daily cleaning and restocking of restrooms
- Restock soap and paper supplies
- Clean glass, counters and toilets
- Vacuum
- Weekly
- Mop data center raised floors
- Using walk behind floor polisher, diamond polish concrete floors
- Quarterly super clean
- Underfloor cleaning of data center raised floor areas (112,000 sq ft)
- Hepa vac of underfloor space in tandem with Cologix DC Technicians
- Spring/Summer/Fall Duties
- Mow lawn weekly
- Use of zero turn mower
- Backpack blower
- Walk behind mower
- Line trimmer
- Monthly application of weed killer/fertilizer
- Weekly weeding of flower beds
- Maintain sprinkler system
- Leaf removal
- Mow lawn weekly
- Winter Duties
- Plow parking lot
- Gator with small plow and calcium spreader
- Spread calcium on sidewalks
- Ensure gates are unencumbered with ice and snow
- Increased mopping of common areas and data center entry to remove calcium build up
- Plow parking lot
- Administrative
- Work with Cintas to ensure paper products are delivered in a timely manner and that rugs are changed out weekly
- Order supplies through Cologix purchase order system
- Ensure service windows are being met for lawn and snow removal equipment
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire pressures/changes
- Belt, hose and battery replacement intervals
Cologix will provide
- Company uniform including laundering and repairs as needed through Cintas
- Gator or similar 4x4 vehicle on site for snow removal
- Snow blower
- Zero turn mower
- Push/walk behind mower
- Hand tools
- Cleaning supplies
What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
- Previous experience working in similar function
- Must be punctual, reliable, flexible and willing to work additional hours when necessary to meet the demands of the facility
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Some work on ladders will be necessary
- Applicant should be able to lift 50lbs

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. This position will also be eligible for a shift differential.
