CNC Machinist

Our client, Villard, MN is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills , and must perform methods and instructions promptly which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

Location: Villard, MN 

Pay Range: $23-$28/hour

What’s the Job?

• Set up basic tooling, write, and execute basic programs. 
• Sets up, operates and programs a broad range of production work involving close tolerance and setups that are exacting are somewhat involved and have a low to moderate degree of difficulty. 
• Reads and interprets specific machining instructions from blueprints, part and machine drawings. 
• Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times. 
• Performs routine maintenance. 
• Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed. 
• Inspects machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices. 

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes preferred
• This individual MUST be able to program their own parts using conversation programming on a Milltronics vertical mill.
