About the role:
The position of Nurse Practitioner is unique as it will be a multi-faceted role in the beginning. Our Ambulatory Infusion Centers are start-ups and, with any startup, sometime the first hire must wear many hats. Aside from your standard duties of providing and supervising primary medical care to patients in the AIC, you will also be the nurse conducting the actual infusion, at least till the AIC grows large enough where we can hire additional nursing staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide and/or supervise medical care including but not limited to patient assessment, infusion therapy and/or injection administration, evaluation and management of treatment plans, screenings, interventions, counseling and patient education, and other medical duties
Ensure accurate and concise medical and clinical records are taken and maintained
Oversee purchasing and inventory control
The hours are flexible for this position and will most likely be part-time to start. The expectation would be that as business picks up, the hours would increase to full-time.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you bring:
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in practice state(s) required.
Licensed authority to practice autonomously in state, preferred.
Prescribing authority, required
National certification, if applicable to practice state.
DEA license required.
2+ years of infusion therapy experience
