Operating within the company s overall business development processes, philosophy and policies. Working with operations and engineering personnel across business units, and collaborate to identify, qualify, capture and win opportunities. Main responsibilities include incubating, pursuing, and managing the captures within the federal government civilian and non-civilian state government and commercial entities. Specifically, the selected candidate will: Work with corporate leadership team to define long-term and short-term business development strategy including an 8(a) graduation strategy Promote core capabilities in the areas of strategic consulting, system integration and modernization, emerging technology adoption, and data management Leverage customer relationships and personal experience to identify and assess potential for specific opportunities that result in measurable revenue growth Build and manage a pipeline of realistic opportunities with a good probability of resulting in contracts Lead capture efforts to successful completion including new, extended, or re-compete contracts Develop the overall capture strategy, internal and external partnerships, and business plans Manage an opportunity from identification, capture, proposal development and submission, to final negotiations and close Design, maintain and execute formal capture plans and monitor competitor activity for each capture Lead and facilitate win strategy including technical solutions, teaming, past performance, staffing, pricing and delivery capabilities Lead the development of customer profiles including an account business plan (for existing accounts and new targets) Lead and coordinate competitive assessments determining the strengths and weaknesses of potential competitors Collect business intelligence and identify gaps and emerging requirements Ensure development of solutions that offer competitive distinction and readily executable approaches Lead and coordinate teaming activities and decisions including proposal coordination / writing / strategy inputs Prepare and deliver presentations for prospects/customers Prepare and lead Milestone Reviews to report metrics and manage risks Identify and analyze market trends and their impact on the business Gain the cooperation of technical experts and specialists on advanced designs Good sense of anticipating client needs to get in front of opportunities *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
