Heavy Duty Mechanic

An industry leader in mining has a great rotation opportunity for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic. This is located in Kern County of Southern California, a couple hours drive to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Bakersfield. Relocation assistance is available. This role is ideal for those wanting to work good hours and overtime. The ideal mechanic will have experience working on large excavators, shovels, dozers, cranes, and other pieces of mining equipment. This role will involve major component repair & exchange, hydraulic & electrical troubleshooting and repair. This opportunity provides a great benefit package, high base pay, with a rotation where you have half the year off.

Compensation and Work Schedule

• Up to $49/hour to start.
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000
• The rotation is 5 days working, 5 off, 4 nights working, and 4 off.
• 12 hour shifts, 6:00am - 6:30pm for Days, and 6:00pm - 6:30am for Nights
