Job Description

1. Program CNC Vertical Mill equipment using Mastercam software, ensuring efficient and accurate machining processes.

2. Operate and set up CNC mills to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

3. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

4. Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to meet project requirements and maintain high-quality standards.

5. Monitor production output, inspect finished products for quality, and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

6. Interpret blueprints and technical documents to understand product specifications and machining requirements.

7. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

8. Train and mentor junior machinists, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.

 

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with expertise in operating CNC Mills.

2. Proficiency in Mastercam software for programming and troubleshooting.

3. Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.

4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

5. Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high quality parts.

6. Experience with plastics and working with vacuum to hold parts is a plus.
