As the National Sales Manager your primary responsibility will be to lead, inspire, and develop our Account Management team to drive the growth and retention of department net revenue. Your role will involve strategic management of the sales process, evaluation of sales practices, and ensuring accountability within the team. By personally coaching, training, and mentoring direct reports, you will provide career development opportunities and contribute to their professional growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage and Accountability (LMA):

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the account management team.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Deliver Sales Team Quota:

  • Deliver sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive success.
  • Lead by example, actively participating in the sales process to close key deals.

Sales Strategic Management:

  • Execute comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and create innovative sales tactics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment.

Train the Team:

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to help team members reach their full potential.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.

Drive Sales Process Management:

  • Optimize sales processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Streamline workflows, automate tasks, and use technology to enhance productivity.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the sales pipeline, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of successful sales experience in logistics, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • 1-3 years of experience leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives, Account Managers, or Operations Specialist.
  • Preferred experience in the supply chain field, demonstrating knowledge of industry dynamics and customer needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
