Contract | IP Professionals (Legal)

LOD is actively seeking multiple IP Professionals (paralegals, legal assistants, docketing) for multiple remote assignments, as well as hybrid assignments in the Washington, DC area.

These roles will pay $35+ per hour based on experience. All contractors should be able to start shortly after interviewing with the client and accepting any offers extended.

Contract durations vary from 6 months to open-ended, and potentially temp-to-hire.

Applicants' resumes must clearly display IP experience. Candidates should have at least four years of IP exposure.

1. Familiarity with intellectual law, and the application and filing process.
2. Strong organizational skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clarity to an often complicated topic for clients.
4. Multitasking skills with the ability to juggle deadlines for multiple clients at different stages of the filing processes.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

LOD offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
