Position Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LICDC) to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of substance abuse disorders, and a passion for helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety. As a LICDC, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling, support, and guidance to clients as they navigate the challenges of addiction recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision to all clinical staff. Coordinates activities, client caseload, and work assignments for staff.
• Schedule individual supervisory conferences for staff and holds regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Maintain compliance with quality assurance processes as required by OHMAS. Assists with OHMAS audits. Ensures compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security policy and procedures.
• Review and assess clinical staff charting.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy to address underlying issues contributing to substance abuse and addiction.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups to promote recovery and relapse prevention.
• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, document treatment interventions and outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of care.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LiCDC) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing substance abuse counseling and treatment services.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations governing substance abuse treatment and confidentiality requirements.
