Michigan Manufacturer seeks Sr Accounts Receivable/ Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage all A/R activities, including collections.
- Process credit card payments and resolve potential discrepancies.
- Facilitate collections from overdue accounts.
- Track and record payments.
- Track project job costing.
- Monitor new PO’s invoice rejections, debits, and releases.
- Assist in preparation of various analytical summaries and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related discipline (Accounting, Business Administration) preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable environment.
- Experience with account reconciliation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with invoicing and data entry software – NetSuite preferred.
- Understanding of general accounting practices.
$65-80K + Benefits
