We are seeking a resident Data Center Server Support Specialist.
This wouls a 2-3 month enagement.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Break Fix support for servers and switches; includes troubleshooting, opening tickets, requesting, ordering, and installing replacment parts
- Install and maintain servers and network equipment
- Monitor day to day performance and security concerns
- Repair and restore service outages
- Upgrade internal systems and components
- Document processes and event logs
Skills Required :
- Onsite data center support experience
- Troubleshooting ability for Dell servers
- Server and switch break fix repairs
- Support tools
- PowerEdge Servers
- Wllingness to support 24*7 work regular hours (8) and be on call after hours/weekends
- Efficient worker
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Dell EMC experience a plus
- Certifications a plus
