Cook/Chef

Millard Mansion, a premier wedding event location and Airbnb in Annville, PA, is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef at Millard Mansion, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity while providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute high-quality menus for weddings, events, and Airbnb guests, ensuring a diverse selection of delicious and visually appealing dishes.

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, dietary restrictions, and guest preferences, while maintaining consistency and excellence in taste and presentation.

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Collaborate with event planners, coordinators, and clients to customize menus and accommodate special requests or dietary needs.

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Uphold food safety standards and regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature control.

Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and industry best practices to continually enhance menu offerings and dining experiences.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a catering or hospitality setting.

Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institute is preferred.

Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Valid food handler's certification and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Hourly Rate: Based on experience and skill level, the suggested hourly rate for this position ranges from $20 to $30 per hour. Additionally, compensation may include gratuities and bonuses for exceptional performance. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications and performance during the interview process.

VIP Menus, must be able to cook for high end clientele, weddings, events and parties.

Owner, Mr. Forbes will judge chef capability in person.

Available within weeks notice of events that require catered and/or chef services at the Millard Mansion for private events.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work at: 1 Clear Spring Rd. Annville, PA 17003
