Experience:

Description: Seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Security Engineer comfortable with remediating security vulnerabilities autonomously. This role requires a diligent individual with a strong understanding of cloud security principles and payment systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Cloud Security Support
  • At least 2 years' experience working with payment systems
  • Extensive knowledge in supporting Cloud/SaaS products and APIs
  • Proficiency with XaaS technologies, platforms, and applications
  • Understanding of web services, API, REST, and RPC
  • Ability to analyze user requirements for software design and performance
  • Capable of designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining software
  • Experience in Agile software development environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to resolving customer issues

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration management databases
  • Provide security and compliance reports, along with SLA and KPI status updates
  • Conduct RCA to identify permanent fixes and update automation scripts accordingly
  • Support the development, debugging, and modification of software code as per specifications
  • Manage production deployments, availability, performance, upgrades, and patching
  • Set up monitoring and alerting thresholds, log incidents, and undertake preventive and maintenance activities
