Job Title: Hydronic Service Technician

Department: Service

Reports to: Mountain Operation Manager

Location: Eagle and Summit County, CO
Wage Range$40-$55/hourly

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)

Job Description:
Hydronic/Boiler Technician to drive to boiler service or no heat calls and to ensure the safety of those we work with and around.  Maintenance, repair, or replace boilers as needed. Must be able to diagnose, order parts, size, and track down plumbing and electrical issues with a hydronics system. Some light plumbing service calls may be included in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of Hydronic systems
  • Boiler systems diagnostics, repair, and installations.
  • Combustion analysis.
  • Experience with soldering and brazing.
  • Provide all support and services in a manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design.
  • Must be able to follow all specifications and building codes associated with their work
  • Dependable, punctual, and monitors own work to ensure the highest quality
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local and national codes and industry standards
  • Ability to perform the following:
    • Diagnose water heater/boilers/Snowmelt systems/Chilled water systems
    • Pumps and piping systems
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in hands-on operation and maintenance of boilers.
  • A working knowledge of boiler water chemistry testing and treatment methods
  • Basic understanding of controls and understanding wire diagrams
  • Capable of and willing to advance your boiler knowledge and expertise through on-the-job training and self-study
  • Valid Driver’s License and clear MVR
  • Pass drug test
