THE ROLE

Invictus Academy is an independent public charter school located in El Cerrito and we are seeking a dependable and self-motivated individual to join our operations team.  


This job includes the following “essential job duties” and responsibilities:



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently oversee the breakfast program. 
  • Open facility in preparation for meal service program.
  • Heat meals and set up breakfast station for students.
  • Use educational health resources to develop visuals for students to increase their knowledge of healthy and nutritious habits.
  • Support supervision of students during breakfast distribution. 
  • Clean food serving surfaces between meal services. 
  • Assist with meal program compliance.
  • Support or assist with additional school operations based tasks as assigned.

  • You will be required to complete a background check and TB clearance prior to being hired.

DESIRABLE

  • You are able to communicate effectively in Spanish.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is on-site. The employee must have sufficient mobility to report to campus, work in an office, and engage with students and families, with or without reasonable accommodations. The employee may be required to do light lifting, pushing/pulling, and bending, with or without accommodations. The employee must possess the ability to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, with or without reasonable accommodations.
