Press Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate up to five presses
• Be able to correctly identify & record defect and scrap
• Be able to finish parts according to customer standards
• Be able to complete all required paperwork
• Practice safety at all times & report unsafe conditions / action to the area supervisor / manager
• Perform special instructions/requests as determined by the Supervisor

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an 9-12 hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to reach into press and pull parts from mold
• Must be able to stoop or bend to clean mold
• Attendance is mandatory and must be on time for work
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed
• Must practice good housekeeping
• Must be flexible and willing to perform any task assigned by Supervisor

1st Shift Hours:

• Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday - Sunday (if scheduled) 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  If daily overtime is scheduled, production hours will be 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM*

3rd Shift Hours:

• Monday - Thursday (Sunday night - Thursday morning) 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Friday - Sunday (Thursday night - Sunday morning) 7:30 PM - 5:00 AM
  If daily overtime is scheduled, production hours will be 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM*
