Job Description
Do you have quality automotive technical skills and a knack for taking a diagnostic approach to problem-solving? We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join an efficient auto service center team! Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. Compensation:$80,000+
Responsibilities:- Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
- Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
- Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
- Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
- Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
- Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal
- Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
- ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Honda experience a PLUS!
