Tutor - Special Education

• Elementary school age special education Tutor - Math and Reading, Saturday hours needed

This is a great opportunity for a retired teacher or for anyone looking to earn extra income. In-person with appropriate PPE.

Requirements for the Tutor:

• Must have a B.A. degree and teaching or tutoring experience in one or more of these areas
• Experience with Maryland education standards required
• Experience with learning differences
• Organizational/executive function tutoring/coaching is a plus
• Reading tutors must be trained in Wilson and/or Orton Gillingham and/or Phono-Graphix

As a condition of employment, all employees are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Flexible working hours available - afterschool, evenings 4pm - 7pm, and/or Saturday mornings. A minimum of 6 hours/week is required.
