Part-Time Insurance Sales Represenative

State Farm Agency, located in Irmo, SC has an immediate opening for a part-time Insurance Sales Representative. Insurance experience is preferred but not required as we will train the right person with the right skill set. If you don't have insurance experience you must have sales experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

• Base pay ($15 - $17.50/hour) plus commission (pay based on experience and license(s))
• Bonus (based on sales promotion goals)

• Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health insurance license required to start (must obtain other if you don't have both).
• Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred.
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
