We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unreal Engine Environment Artist to join our talented team. The individual will be responsible for crafting stunning, immersive environments that enhance gameplay and push the boundaries of what's possible in Unreal Engine.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and assembly of immersive game environments using Unreal Engine
  • Collaborate with the design and art teams to ensure the environment aligns with the game's aesthetic and narrative direction
  • Create a variety of assets including complex models, textures, materials, and shaders
  • Optimize environmental assets to ensure they meet performance requirements
  • Participate in regular reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of work
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior team members
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies in environment art creation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, or related field
  • 5+ Years experience as an environment artist in the gaming industry, with extensive experience in Unreal Engine
  • Mastery of 3D modeling tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender and texturing tools like Substance Painter and Designer
  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color theory, atmosphere, and detail in environmental design
  • Excellent artistic eye for detail with an impressive portfolio showcasing your environment art work
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a knack for providing constructive feedback
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new techniques and software
