High-end residential contractor in Jacksonville, Florida is looking for an experienced, full-time superintendent.
Job Description:
- Oversee all phases of the construction process
- Coordinate and direct all trades on project
- Ensure compliance with contract documents including drawings, specs, RFIs, etc.
- Plan and schedule project activities on a daily to weekly basis, as required
- Prepare short term schedules and review schedule updates with project manager
- Verify dimensions within design drawings and coordinate with shop drawings
- Receive and maintain purchased materials and rented equipment
- Directly supervise employees such as carpenters, laborers, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Management skills
- Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans and specifications
- Knowledge of scheduling and cost control
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures
- Minimum of three years experience in scheduling, site supervision and quality control
- Strong supervision, organizational and people skills
- Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans and specifications
