Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced massage therapist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This would be done in a Wellness facility " Gym" like environment. The clientele would be an active group. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is well-versed in different types of massage and massage techniques, and is attentive to each client’s needs and physical condition. Compensation:$44,500 - $53,500 yearly
Responsibilities:- Prepare the massage table and necessary products to apply to the client’s skin
- Cultivate a welcoming work environment by making positive relationships with clients and staff
- Ensure client needs are met safely using the therapeutic massage technique that corresponds with their needs
- Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client
- Assess and advise on each client’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment
- Completion of a massage therapy program preferred
- Licensure must comply with state and local laws and regulations
- Over one year of work experience as a massage therapist
- Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage
