Private Pay CNA In-Home caregiver

Paying $16-18/hour!  The purpose of this position it to assist an elderly couple(my parents) enjoy living in their long term home.  My Parents are needing help as my mom had a stroke about 3 years ago which reduced the mobility of her left side somewhat. She can walk, with assistance of a caregiver and walker, short distances. My Dad has Parkinson's and is generally self-sufficient but at times, help would be of great benefit. Both are very mentally alert. The house is very friendly to their situation with lift chairs, a wheel chair van etc. 

Have considerable flexibility in work schedule, 12 hour shifts 8a-8p up to 40-50 hours per week you pick what days work for you!

Tasks include the typical which are:

• Companionship and conversation

• Light housekeeping

• Household management

• Walking assistance

• Eating assistance

• Errands

• Transportation using clients vehicle or your vehicle

• Meal planning and preparation

• Laundry and linen changing

• Bathing assistance

• Dressing assistance

• Toileting • Medication reminders

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA preferred and able to provide Personal Care services
• Ability to pass the skills assessment prior to employment
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level
• Ability to drive or use public transportation to get to work
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid social security number
• Complete any required health screenings as required
• Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations and proof of insurance
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment
