PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of Software Development Engineer in Test with AWS for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Ideal candidate should collaborate with team members to identify/implement test techniques that are effective and efficient in meeting organizational goals for product quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

• Must perform audits for adherence to adequate configuration management of test ware, including safe storage of test strategy/plan/case, test data, test scripts, test results, and other test assets.

• Should work with the development team to ensure testability of product definition, plan test development, and execution efforts.

• Analyze requirements and user needs and create a Test Script.

• Must be able to identify and implement tooling, frameworks, and dashboards for automated testing as needed.

• Need to troubleshoot technical systems or software issues experienced during testing and exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine strong solutions to the applications.

• Should craft Manual and Automated tests and test plans to ensure proper test coverage for front-end and back-end testing.

• Implement automation code structured as reusable building blocks.

• Have to perform the exploratory test with the user interface to ensure proper test coverage beyond scripted tests.

• Use effective processes and practices that embrace the full software lifecycle.

• Must have to extend/improve the current automated test suite.

• Need to define and implement informal/formal V&V, identify defects, triage issues, help resolve root causes, track issues to completion, and craft test reports.

• Should design, develop, and create test documentation for computer systems or programs based on business, client, and functional requirements.

• Communicate and interact professionally with all levels of staff and management to coordinate project deliverables, deliver status reports, and facilitate meetings.

Required Skills:

• The candidate should have +9 Years of Experience in overall Testing experience.

• 5+ years of Automation testing is a must.

• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE or Python development to be able to design, implement, and triage defects or issues.

• Must have experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, Redshift, EC2, EMR, etc.

• Need to have the ability to build automation testing frameworks from scratch (Selenium, Cucumber, etc...)

• Should have to demonstrate an understanding of good software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing, and Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Have to be strong in scripting skills with Unix shell scripting, python, and UI development using Angular to enhance and maintain existing test platforms.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
