Cashier Host

We are looking for one person to have 2 roles on a weekly basis divided between cashiering and hosting.

HOST JOB DESCRIPTION:

• SMILE, SMILE, SMILE! appearance must be nice, neat and clean, proper uniform according to our requirements
• Greet customers with a friendly greeting, good morning or good afternoon before you ask How many in your party?
• Have the ability to provide customers with accurate wait times
• Be able to stand on your feet for 6 hour increments
• Learn how to rotate seating between different sections to ensure even workloads for waitstaff
• must be able to effectively communicate with bussers, servers and management
• In the event of a problem please always get a manager
• Keep front door windexed and floor area clean from debris
• Clean menus as needed throughout the day
• Complete side work before leaving and check out with a manager
• Have a food handlers certificate (or obtain one within 2 weeks of being hired) and understand the restaurants sanitation rules
• Any other duties deemed necessary by management

CASHIER JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Stand on feet for 6 hours at a time
• Greet customers politely & quickly when arriving and leaving
• Properly run cash register, count back change & thoroughly run credit card machines.
• Learn the menu for take out orders
• Phone etiquette and properly take to go orders
• Learn take out bagging system
• Do daily & weekly side work after each shift
• Be attentive at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
