If you have a passion for applied quantitative research and experience managing survey projects, this role is for you.

The Research Manager Will Be:

  • A strong and careful analytical writer with fieldwork experience, responsible for:
    • Report edits, formatting
    • Briefing/meeting slide drafter
    • Cape statements, marketing, blogs
    • Past performances
    • Proposal first drafts/reviews
    • Abstract submissions
  • A self-starting detail-oriented diplomatic administrative leader, responsible for: 
    • Review of admin docs (MSRs, invoices)
    • Travel booking, itineraries, and visas/insurance coordination
    • Timesheets and PTO submissions, approvals, and tracking
    • First point of contact for annual review feedback collection and screening interviews
    • Client-facing research task and project management
    • Interest and ability to manage people


Position Requirements

  • Proven to be a strong and careful analytical writer with fieldwork experience
  • Possesses the utmost attention to detail and organization skills, including time management, multi-tasking, and building consistent processes
  • Proactive verbal and clear written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and multicultural vendors 
  • Experience juggling multiple fast-paced projects 
  • Experience with people management, mentorship, coaching, and teaching
  • Willingness to contribute to a range of tasks, from project leadership to digging into data 
  • Eight+ years of relevant professional research experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Willing to travel


Location: At DCG, many of our team members including this role, work remotely. With over 100 employees based in 30 states (and counting!) and abroad, DCG is committed to hiring talented employees wherever they live.
