Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Support:

    • Assist the lead teacher in implementing engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
    • Engage actively with children during lessons and playtime, encouraging learning and exploration.
    • Support individual children's needs and development, promoting their holistic growth.
  2. Child Care and Safety:

    • Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines.
    • Monitor children's behavior and interactions, addressing any concerns in a caring and professional manner.
    • Assist with daily routines, such as snack time and naptime, to meet the children's basic needs.
  3. Communication and Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on children's progress and well-being.
  4. Classroom Management:

    • Support the lead teacher in maintaining discipline and order in the classroom, promoting positive behavior and social interactions.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Willingness to participate in training and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Availability to work between the hours of 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the preschool.
  • Excellent references attesting to your capabilities and character.
  • A heart filled with patience and genuine care for children's well-being.
  • Professional demeanor, flexibility, and a team player mentality.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
