Seasonal Slinger

Join The Peach Truck team as a Peach Slinger, where you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service and managing our order fulfillment process. Your role includes engaging with customers, setting up locations, and ensuring seamless experiences during our retail stops. This role involves travel to neighboring zip codes within the assigned market. This is a seasonal position and preparation for the season begins in early May and lasts into early September.

$16 hourly

Responsibilities Include:

• Set up of the stops, this will include setting up tables, tents, cones and other equipment (may be in excess of 40lbs)
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the customer service experience by delivering the “Peach Truck” service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all customers.
• The ability to communicate knowledge learned, such as How to properly condition a peach and other promotions or products.
• Make it right for the customer by de-escalating any negative situations and recover the customer experience
• Work efficiently to minimize customer wait time while maintaining customer service and accuracy. Including addressing customers in line to keep queued customers engaged.
• Bag Peaches during downtime while being available for the customers
• Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices
• Work a flexible schedule aligning with customer and business needs.
• All other duties based on business needs

• 18 years of age or older and eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with applicable employment laws is required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from your work location.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift safely 40+ pound boxes repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Ability to work outdoors in various climates
• Welcoming and helpful attitude with a strong work ethic, that can adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, showcasing flexibility, proactivity, resourcefulness, and efficiency, and a keen attention to detail while multitasking
• Access to a personal smartphone, and Adaptability to current technology needs
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision at all times and follow instructions
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends, and holidays, with regular attendance necessary. (Saturday availability is required).
• Dedicated to placing the customer experience as the utmost priority, with strong communication skills utilizing a positive and customer-focused language, and expertise in customer education, upselling, and cross-selling.
