The Business Development Specialist 90k -110k( Law Firm)
The ideal candidate will have three to five years of law firm or professional services business development experience.
Key Business Development Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep knowledge of the firm's attorneys, clients, experience, and capabilities.
- Coordinate with lawyers to develop individual business development plans, schedule regular touch points, networking, and other related activities and meetings.
- Take ownership of CRM database and supervise data entry tracking of all business development activities (pre and post pitch activities, etc.) to CRM.
- Support partners with managing their contacts, including staying top-of-mind with key contacts, tracking, and organizing the partners’ ongoing efforts.
- Work with Director of Marketing & Business Development to develop and produce client-facing materials related to pursuing new business including pitches, presentations, client meeting materials, etc.
- Provide pitch and directory submission support: edit, proofread, draft, track matters and maintain materials such as pitches, proposals, lawyer profiles, annual directory submissions and similar materials.
- Track ROI for all business development activities.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Marketing, or related field and experience (IP experience is a plus).
- CRM experience required (ContactEase experience is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to evolve with the position as required.
