What You'll Do:

The Senior Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting the company in all aspects of the compliance relationship with internal business partners and regulatory agencies for Pennsylvania. This role will help develop and manage Pennsylvania specific compliance best practices, policies, and programs to help ensure the department is following legislative and regulatory requirements regarding all activity as determined by the Compliance Department. This role will work with the Regional Vice President of Compliance to ensure that Curaleaf is maintaining compliance in our initiatives and in the promotion of all Curaleaf and Curaleaf family of brands and products.

  • Communicate any exceptions or items of concern/caution to minimize risks
  • Flag all issues of concern to Compliance leadership and lead the process of issue resolution
  • Review, monitor and reply to all marketing materials requests in a timely fashion, ensuring state specific information is identified
  • Follow and enforce established review guidance in conjunction with state regulations and Compliance program and procedures
  • Develops and reports on metrics reflecting Key Productivity Indicators (KPIs) for state's Review
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, and statutes in relation to marketing and advertising requirements and restrictions
  • Work closely with the Regional Vice President of Compliance to thoroughly review policies, procedures, and best practices; and provide feedback and updates where necessary
  • Abide by all Company policies/procedures to ensure compliance with various regulatory and internal system requirements in relation to material review
  • Actively participate in team meetings, improvement initiatives/program, etc., to provide constructive recommendations to support Compliance Department initiatives/goals
  • Consistently demonstrate commitment to Company core values
  • Maintain discretion with regard to the handling of sensitive information and requests
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
  • Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A., or B.S..,) from an accredited college or a minimum of 3 successful years in a regulatory compliance focused role
  • Ability to interpret and execute various state and federal specific cannabis regulations as they apply to the company (HIPAA, FDA, etc.)
  • Exemplary verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization
  • Attention to detail, with ability to prioritize
  • Time management skills
  • Familiarity with full Microsoft Office Suite (to include Teams, SharePoint; PowerApps knowledge is a plus)
  • Location: PA (on-site / hybrid / travel required)
