PureGreen is looking for an experienced and motivated Crew Foreman to manage our commercial landscape maintenance crews. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the principles of horticulture and experience leading teams of maintenance workers to provide quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the landscape maintenance crew, including scheduling, routing, and managing the workflow.
- Manage the quality of work performed by the crew and ensure that it meets PureGreen's standards and customer expectations.
- Ensure that all crew members are properly trained, equipped, and adhere to safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials, equipment, and supplies and coordinate with the operations manager to ensure that they are adequately stocked.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties and ensure that all work is completed on schedule and to the highest quality.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and be responsive to their needs and requests.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the PureGreen team, including sales and management personnel.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and communicate these to the sales team.
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in commercial landscaping or similar field with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant identification, pruning, fertilization, and pest control.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to work safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to perform physical labor, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
