Job Description
ChefSuite, a full-service commercial cooking facility with private kitchens rented by restauranteurs for the preparation of food for pick-up and delivery, seeks a proactive and organized Building Supervisor at our Richmond, Virginia facility to ensure the operational functionality of the facility while managing a team of food expeditors. 

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Hire and lead a team of Food Expeditors and coordinate shift hours, train employees, approve timesheets in ADP, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Food Expeditor team, Human Resources, and ChefSuite Executives on all employee-related matters including but not limited to communicating, managing, and documenting employee relations issues, facilitating employee onboarding at the property level, managing both voluntary and involuntary terminations, and addressing questions or updates regarding company policies.
  • Oversee property upkeep maintenance, including but not limited to, putting together furniture, installing and moving various equipment scheduling and supervising vendors for maintenance, deliveries with distributors, trash removal, landscaping, security, as well as managing disputes
  • Promptly coordinate and respond to tenant and building maintenance issues ensuring properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations
  • Maintain accurate recording of property maintenance issues and compliance
  • Coordinate deliveries with restaurateurs and distributors.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and key stakeholders for that site.
  • Maintain tenant accounts on RealPage, ensuring timely and accurate updates to ensure that each tenant's account remains current and relaying past due balances to the Tenant Manager
  • Provide support to the Tenant Manager in maintaining smooth operations and excellent customer service standards
  • Assist the Tenant Manager in investigating and resolving tenant complaints and rental violations
  • Ensure property invoices are settled or directed to the appropriate party
  • Meet with potential tenants and tour the property
  • Assist tenants with technical issues, including but not limited to, restaurant tablets and printers
  • Hear and resolve customer complaints as necessary
  • Stay current on local food trends

Qualifications:

The Restaurant Manager must have previous management experience and be detail-oriented. The Building Supervisor must also be able to multitask, work independently, have creative problem-solving skills, and possess excellent time management skills. A high school degree and three years of experience or a similar combination of education and experience is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
