About the Role:

The Corporate Training Assistant is responsible for coordinating corporate training logistics, including enrolling employees in scheduled training, maintaining, and distributing training materials, scheduling follow-up/makeup sessions, and coordinating training with external vendors.

Essential Functions

  • Training logistics
    • Schedule and organize meetings and events and maintain agendas
    • Coordinate impact events and internship program activities
    • Coordinate logistics with conference center to determine software and hardware needs
    • Create promotional materials to market for trainings and company events
    • Prepare and send course advertising communications to intended audience
    • Coordinate program briefings
  • Training sessions
    • Maintain training calendar and catalog of available courses on LMS
    • Collaborate with external training resources
    • Collaborate with vendors to schedule training (virtual and in-person), conference room or classroom space, audio-visual equipment
    • Administer compliance training through LMS
    • Track follow-up and make-up training sessions
    • Monitor corporate training department’s Outlook mailbox; respond directly in timely manner and/or refer to other training team members
  • Training documentation and equipment/supplies
    • Maintain training data and produce reports on training statistics and assessments of program and instructors
    • Maintain library of training materials
    • Procure training materials and distribute to class participants
    • Organize training closet and supplies
    • Initiate, distribute feedback and prepare training and quarterly summary reports
    • Administer compliance training through LMS
  • Administrative
    • Track overall training expenditures and reconcile with budget allocation
    • Coordinate administrative duties including invoicing, reporting, miscellaneous scanning, filing, printing, data entry, etc.
    • Track data related to training, attendance, course completion, satisfaction surveys, etc.
    • Assist with Onboarding process of new hires
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable
  • Other duties as assigned
About You:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment required
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or related discipline; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of work schedule as needed to assist with training functions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good MS Office Suite experience, including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills

What We Offer:

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary $40,000-$55,000 / year
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. 
  • Two days per week remote work option for non-field roles depending on position and performance.
