GENERAL FUNCTION:

Retail Line of Business owner for Distribution support to develop, design, and implement sales and service behaviors and activities related to the overall opening of a NextGen Financial Center including, but not limited to community involvement, outside business calling, event planning, space design (Next Gen), One Bank Partnerships and mobility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creation and standardization of pre and post opening sales process to support metrics/tracking that drive accountability at the branch level.
    • Partnership with IT, Retail Operations, and EWS to ensure the branch team and facility is ready for turnover and opening day activities.
    • Partnership with Marketing and One Bank Team to build Marketing Prospect Leads and load into FNA.
  • Utilize the De Novo and NextGen Playbook Model to support the new branches in higher levels of account growth.
  • Develop and drive standardized One Bank processes at the Branch FC pre and post opening.
  • Lead by example to ensure the overall Consultative Sales and Service behaviors are practiced within the organization.
  • Partner with Retail National and Retail Leadership to drive consistency within the field by Creating a feedback loop that allows for continuous measurement of the program.
  • Work together with leadership teams and appropriate partners to identify where there are strategies/best practices that can be enhanced or incorporated to support De Novo performance across the distribution.
  • Responsible for overall branch appearance standards from a Bancorp perspective for all network locations.
  • Regularly provide support to both teammates and the markets by traveling to branch sites and ensure the proper behavioral activities are being used that will result in successful growth. Expectation of travel can be up to 50% depending on scheduled openings and needed visits post-open.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years Retail Banking and sales management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert strategic vision into a tactical plan, and to execute on that plan.
  • Experience operating successfully in a complex, matrixed organization, driving change through influence.
  • Self-motivated with excellent business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and realize new sales opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and presentation/workshop development skills.
