The CARFAX Advisory Services team is seeking an Operations Coordinator to assist in managing the filing activity for all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The position will report directly to the Manager of Advisory Services and work collaboratively with Insurance Analytics, Insurance Underwriting, and other internal stakeholders to compile and submit form, rate, and rule filings meeting the specific regulatory requirements in the various jurisdictions. The candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activity surrounding the rate filing process, including preparing and making filings, handling questions and objections from regulators, monitoring filing activity, and communicating filing status to internal stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:
  • Compile, develop, and submit filing documents for transmittal to insurance departments.
  • Monitor all active and recently completed filings in SERFF (System for Electronic Rate, Rule and Form Filings)
  • Facilitate meetings between insurance departments and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Distribute approved rate, rule, and form materials as appropriate to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs team to streamline and monitor filing applications.
  • Research relevant industry filing activity.
  • Compile and update database of frequently asked questions from external partners and insurance departments.


What we're looking for:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Personal auto insurance form, rate, and rule experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SERFF (System for Electronic Rate, Rule, and Form Filings) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
