SUMMARY OF JOB CONTENTS

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible to understand and safely execute all duties as trained as well as those outlined in the Standard Work Instructions. In addition, this person may be asked to assist/support in other areas throughout the facility.

Key Accountabilities

* Maintain a safe, clean, secure, and organized loading area in each building

* Packaging/Unpackaging of Carbon Fiber Spools as needed

* Support month end inventory transactions as needed.

* Support Logistics Specialist with FTZ requirements and tracking (FIFO).

* Ensure that physical inventory location matches what is in SAP (carbon fiber) with 100% accuracy

* Maintain stock levels and deliver raw materials to production lines

* Perform daily loading and unloading of trucks/containers as required.

* Perform daily material movements within all production buildings and assign locations that match SAP.

* Back up point of contact for trucks/visitors entering plant site (gate phone).

* Maintain open communication with Logistics, Production, Quality and Maintenance Departments on daily activities and deliveries and provide notification/information as needed.

* Fully trained Back up to Warehouse Coordinator and support as needed

* Perform daily safety checks to all equipment located in loading areas.

* Work with Quality Dept to ensure all material issues are resolved and/or released for shipment. (Finished goods, MDR's, packing lists)

* Perform additional tasks required by The Logistics Team as needed.

* Responsible for creating and maintaining necessary work instructions for activities in and around the loading areas.

* Prepare and stage outgoing shipments as requested by Logistics Team

* Use Yard Dog as required to move containers within the plant site

* Must efficiently work with minimal supervision.

* Must be reliable and respond in a timely manner to all co-workers and customers.

* Must have the ability to train others.

* Must maintain forklift certification as required.

* Must maintain Yard Dog certification as required

* Must have and maintain an excellent safety and attendance record.

* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment described here is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential function of this job. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is below OSHA required PPE levels but considered loud in some areas. Employee will also be required to work outdoors under various weather conditions, based upon the area climate.

$22.05 - $30.00/hr

M-Th 6 am-3pm & Friday's 6-10am, flex schedule
