Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the local school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year in Burgaw, NC. If you are passionate about providing behavioral support to students and enhancing their educational experience, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Provide direct behavioral support to students in school settings
  • Collect and record data on student behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of behavior plans
  • Support students in developing social skills and positive behaviors

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
