Our Surveillance Specialists are responsible for observing activities that occur in all gaming and non-gaming areas through our CCTV system. They report all violations of gaming, safety, health and/or policy and procedural violations that occur. Specialists are considered confidential and trusted employees who protect the property, money, patrons, employees and the reputation of Lakeside Casino through covert video surveillance.

AFTER YOU ARE TRAINED, YOU WILL HAVE:
  • Thorough knowledge of all casino table games including Blackjack and Craps.
  • Thorough knowledge of slot machine games.
  • The ability to operate closed circuit television, video recording devices and remote control devices.
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS INCLUDE: (Other duties may be assigned)
  • Specialists are expected to “patrol” the facility through the use of pan, tilt and zoom cameras and record all pertinent activity on the digital recording system.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain a log of events as they occur and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate.
  • Must possess the ability to use a computer, navigate video with surveillance software, and possess the knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of property policies and procedures and State regulations (training will be provided).
  • Must proactively notify management of any gaming, procedural and policy violations.
  • Must have integrity, and the ability to remain impartial and keep all actions and behaviors observed as confidential.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask well, and prioritize activities as needed.
  • Must be team oriented and work well with others.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to work the Casino gaming floor.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous surveillance and/or casino gaming experience is a plus.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain and Iowa Gaming License.
