Job Description
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking compassionate Remote School Psychologists to empower the educational journey of students near New Haven, CT
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop tailored education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists
- Offer counseling and intervention services
- Engage in team meetings and consultations
Qualifications:
- Recent Schools Experience
Education: Completion of a graduate degree (master's, specialist, or doctoral) in school psychology or a related field from an accredited institution. The program should meet CTstate standards and include a practicum or internship.
Certification/Licensure: Connecticutrequires licensure through the CTDepartment of Educationto work as a School Psychologist in public schools. This involves completing an approved program, passing required exams, and meeting other state-specific requirements.
Field Experience: Completion of supervised field experience or internship hours, often as a part of the graduate program requirements, is necessary for certification.
Background Check: Applicants typically need to undergo a criminal background check as part of the certification process.
