We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our plant operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes within our manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with plant managers and operations teams to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting plant performance and profitability.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities and provide financial justification for proposed projects.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis to support process improvement initiatives and operational decision-making.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze inventory management practices to optimize working capital.
- Assist in the development of pricing strategies and product costing models to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or plant operations environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
