Virtual Special Education Teacher (K-12) - Springfield, OH

Term: January 2024 - June 2024
Location: Remote (Springfield, OH)
Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Hours: 35-37.5 hours per week

Procare Therapy is a leading education staffing and services company dedicated to connecting talented individuals with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a Virtual Special Education Teacher for the K-12 level to join our team for the 2024 school year. This is a remote position based in Springfield, OH.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual special education instruction to K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize virtual platforms and tools effectively to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching License.
  • Previous experience in virtual or online teaching.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
  • Payment on a bi-weekly basis.

Contract Details:

  • 1099 Employment Contract.
  • Full-time position for the duration of the 2024 school year (January - June).
  • Remote work arrangement.
