Accounts Payable Clerk

Robert Half is actively searching for a permanent Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist for a Non-Profit in Santa Fe, NM!

This role can be Hybrid - two days a week remote.

Accounts Payable Duties include match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks and expense reports. This dynamic department will provide you with opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out additional tasks as assigned

- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Execute full-cycle A/P

- Assist with internal and external audits as needed

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- PDF experience required

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

- Full Cycle Payroll experience

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
