Position: School Social Worker

Location: White Bear Lake, MN

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team and support the well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support strategies for students.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Advocate for students' rights and collaborate with external agencies to provide necessary resources and services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families in times of need.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs promoting positive behavior and mental health.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records, progress notes, and reports.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• State licensure as a School Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent). Must be active
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to assess and address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and best practices related to school social work.
