Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor, 2nd shift

Pay Rate: $33.48/hour + shift differential ($1.50/hour)

Role & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the Supply Chain department operating crew of 8-9 hourly employees.

· Independently and safely direct the activities of employees assigned to the crew and the training process to create an effective operating team. Establishes and maintains effective communication between shifts, Quality lab and both production departments.

· Incorporates Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensures that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and always followed.

· Ensures that orders are processed and loaded in a timely manner meeting or exceeding customer requirements. Ensure inventory numbers are accurate through counting, stock rotation and efficient layout of all warehouses.

· Responsible for working with the PMC/General Foreman and maintenance personnel to ensure reliability and efficient operation of all fork trucks and necessary equipment.

· Accountable for achieving the maximum level of output while maintaining a superior level of safety, quality, and proactive employee relations.

· Proactively uses coaching to promote development and continuous improvement into all aspects of the operation. Inspires and requires engagement at all levels of the organization and supports the Plant's focus on positive employee relations and inclusion.

· Must be willing to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

· Must possess good computer skills to maintain excel spreadsheets and all other computer-generated files. Must possess good knowledge of the Oracle system to maintain inventory and assist in production process.

· Perform administrative functions as required for the position.

· Adaptable to shift assignment and overtime requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Previous experience as a supervisor or equivalent leadership experience is preferred.

· Demonstrates strong leadership potential including personal accountability, decision making, problem-solving capability and the ability to efficiently manage people and production needs.

· Business-minded, people-oriented and results-oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

· Self-starter, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Must have a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet software, MP2, Oracle, production balancing, Kronos, and Lean.

· Values coaching and utilizes critical feedback to develop relationships in a diverse workforce environment and influence change at an individual and team level. Previous experience with REAL Performance, Vertical Directions Program, and coaching is a plus.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
