Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Setup Technician in the South Elgin, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift and the pay range is about $28 per hour, depending on experience.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Plan machining operation by reviewing blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and machining parameters
* Set up machines for operations
* Move materials to machines
* Review program specifications to set machine parameters
* Use CAD software to set up machines
*Experience Needed:*
* At least 3 years of CAD and machine setup experience
* Ability to train others
* Apprenticeship or technical degree in CNC Machining is preferred
